M. C. Escher is the very admirable artist who came up with the following picture in 1953, named Relativity. It featured the interior of a building in a world with, apparently, 3 different gravity sources.

I was fascinated by it as a kid, and I still am.
Thursdays are Tijuana Shorts: Comics which feature the regular cast but are non-canon, deal with off-topic themes and may even break the 4th wall. They are noticeably shorter comics with toned-down art and less panels. Get used to them! Tijuana Regular resumes on Monday.

We could just get rid of stairs altogether, and install ropes everywhere. Get in shape – AND save tons of trees!
We’d be like… monkeys. A devolution of sorts…!
Meh – on the exercise, we should just install wind powered escalators, like everywhere!!
Hmm why is everyone talking about trees and exercise? I hope you guys really *get* the comic
I’m sure we get it! However, had it been me, I might not have used the Supreme Court, but the G.O.P. (which in my world stands for Grand Ole Puritans). They tend to be the ones who discredit environmentalism… this is assuming of course if you were referring to -my- supreme court and not -yours- ?!? …okay, maybe I didn’t get it after all!! I shouldn’t be allowed to think outloud! LOL
Maybe the comic title is misleading. It’s more about the fact that removing the staircase risers would lead to problems, such as preventing people with a different gravity source from using those same stairs. Entirely illogical if you think about it but Escher did it and people liked it!
