Tamfang : "I don't get it...."

A friend of mine who works in Daimler (formerly DaimlerChrysler) once boasted that the automotive industry already had the capability to mass-produce cars driven entirely by onboard computers, without requiring any human interaction. The only obstacle standing in the way is, unsurprisingly, legislation. No country would ever legalize street cars that drove themselves, which is why even those high-tech, hands-free park-assist systems by luxury carmakers require you to keep your feet on the pedals as the car maneovred itself into a parking space. If the government won’t even allow your car to park itself, they would certainly not permit it to cruise autonomously down the freeway.

Looks like seeing idiots behind the wheel will remain a fixture of our lives for some time yet…

  1. George says:

Man, I gotta stop drooling over the artwork. :D

  2. John K says:

I totally agree with george, This is beautiful… the elevator in the second panel, just perfect.

  3. Jackson says:

Allow me to third the sentiments expressed on the artwork. That is one sweet elevator, and I also love how animated the characters look.

    • speearr says:

That comes from reading too much of the ‘Nobody Scores’ comic. Brandon Bolt is an inspiration…

  4. muddlecreek says:

Yeah, the art in panel two looks pretty tight! I’m also digging the art in panels 6-8

  5. jynksie says:

damn your artwork is sexy! I’m filled with envy, lust, jealousy and a desire to pack it in and give it up! …but I won’t, only because my mediocrity just makes what you do, look even better!

  6. Phillyzero says:

    *poke* *bounce* ^_^

    • speearr says:

This made me realise how often I’ve been relying on the supple female upper body for gags….. 0_o

  7. I’ve really been enjoying reading my way through the archives. This strip’s a great example of some of the cool stuff I see you’re doing not just with scenery, but also with light, color, and the way your characters move. This is a wonderfully lively comic!

  8. D. Long says:

So I just discovered your comic today. I like it! I’ll definitely be returning.

  9. muddlecreek says:

Do you have an updated link button I could use? I still have the old one from tnt

  10. Tamfang says:

    I don’t get it.
