Lookitwat I did- fan art for one of my webcartoonist buddies, Tony Piro. His Calamities of Nature should be on your reading list because it mixes irony with absurdism and cynism and astrophysics and religion and pop-culture and politicians and lotsa bacon, all wrapped up in innocent-looking critters. Click the image to see it on his site.
I made a piece of fan art for the daily webcomic, Addanac City! Click on the image above to visit his site and view the picture and be sure to check out creator and webcomic pal George Ford’s wicked funny comic.

Believe me–as a cartoonist, I know. Some days you really wanna make supremely kick-ass artwork, and others you’re just clocking in for the day. Good artwork takes time, too…

Dang! It’s hard to ditch work when there’s no place to go. Great work!
You can go home!
Love that shot of the monorail over the ocean. The buildup to it is excellently-timed, too.
Generous praise there, Jackson. It’s getting hard to maintain standards though lol…

I agree with Jackson … this is just unbelievably beautiful work … absolutely stunning!
Yo, new guy! Thanks for dropping by, come back for more okay?
I will!
“I agree with the above about the ocean shot, but Dang, that last panel is just truly inspired!!
I was hoping the dramatic perspective would mask my rather lame punch-line….!
It’s as they say in that old Police song.. “like lemmings in shiny metal boxes…”
Lemmings seem to have all but vanished from the forefront of pop-culture. Nothing a Bay-directed summer-blockbuster can’t fix, though…
Ha! If there’s one thing Michael Bay would be qualified to direct, it’d be a movie based on that old computer game by Psygnosis…
Man, that was a good game. None of the sequels have really lived up to the original.
That animated gif of the original Lemmings @the link really brings back memories of games from a bygone era…
Wow, nice closing quote. (looks around cubicle and sighs)
I would’ve just hopped through the glass into whatever it is I land on! Day jobs, yeaeaccch!
Nate, some days I’m with you on that one.
Agreed with Jackson, the ocean looks lovely.
Going to work would be a whole lot more fun if my office had ocean views…
I have ocean views of Boston harbor! *grin* *smirk* *sticks out tongue*
By the way, I’ve decided that YOU mr. comic t. creator should do a tutorial on coloring a comic! Ponder it!
