Comic for 2009/07/23: The First Dinner Date

The First Dinner Date
speearr : "Yup, it's all very makeshift!..."

Call me old-fashioned, but I think it makes a guy feel real special when the girls he likes goes through the trouble of cooking him a meal, regardless of whether she can actually cook or not.

And HEY, Terence N. Tijuana not only makes you bust a gut laughing, it can make you feel warm and fuzzy on the inside too, no?

Thursdays are Tijuana Shorts: Comics which feature the regular cast but are non-canon, deal with off-topic themes and may even break the 4th wall. They are noticeably shorter comics with toned-down art and less panels. Get used to them! Tijuana Regular resumes on Monday.

That’s how it usually works! I like his idea better though! It looks like he’s got the perfect combo of Chinese and pizza! Can’t go wrong!

  2. Jackson says:

See, this is why I always eat out on dates. (I’ve only ever been one one-and-a-half dates, but we ate out on both of them.)

    Wow that’s a big turkey.

  3. speearr says:

It’s a bit more intimate at her place ;)

  4. D. Long says:

The best part about Chinese and pizza is leftovers, anyway. She should appreciate that they’ll have a delicious meal in the morning.

  5. John K says:

I have never tried the two together, I may have to now…

  6. I ALWAYS walk around with some pizza on my head … you just never know! :)

  7. George says:

Heh-heh….I know what he’s expecting with that smile. And you know he’s not inebriated yet if he’s able to balance those pizzas.

  8. jynksie says:

Comfort foods usually lead to a “comfortable” evening! *grin* Pizza, chinese food, left over turkey for sandwiches… any chance there’s gravy and stuffing there?!?

    Gawd, now I’m hungry!!

  9. Phillyzero says:

Is the table supported by books and boxes? P.S. I too have to try Chinese..with Pizza..with Turkey…and Wine :D
