Comic for 2009/09/03: Trolls

Trolls
David : "I have to admit I disliked troll dolls with a vengeance when they were popular, but this troll I wouldn't mind carrying around for those special occasions...."

Why are obviously important issues so much easier to ignore than a dumb online forumer’s inflammatory rants?

Thursdays are Tijuana Shorts: Comics which feature the regular cast but are non-canon, deal with off-topic themes and may even break the 4th wall. They are noticeably shorter comics with toned-down art and less panels. Get used to them! Tijuana Regular resumes on Monday.

Awesome Elephant. I love the shading and the style in general.

Do you know what an elephant and my wife have in common?!? Neither of them-ever-forgets-a-thing!!

  5. Phillyzero says:

The troll is cuter than the elephant :D

  6. Sharp gag :) (And I agree with the consensus: nice looking troll you’ve got there.)

  7. George says:

Man, it’s gonna be hard to ignore both of them. :)

The perennially-ignorable elephant in this strip reminds me of a book I discovered recently–Wolverine: Worst Day Ever. It takes the form of a series of blog posts by a mutant kid whose superpower is unnoticeability. I only got to skim the book a bit in Barnes & Noble, but it looked really amusing.

This comic, too, is amusing. And I like the big bold shading on the troll and elephant.
