Comic for 2009/09/24: Censorship: Revisited

Censorship: Revisited
speearr : "You know how the government works D...."

Fans of vintage Terence N. Tijuana will recognize this one. It’s a ‘digitally-remastered’ version of this comic which I first posted on April 30th 2009, moments before Terence N. Tijuana as you know it today appeared. In fact, the style utilized by this particular comic became the foundation on which I built the current Terence N. Tijuana series.

So dudes, this is a piece of history! Enjoy!

PS: I’m away on holiday most of this week, which is why I’m digging up an old comic. Most of you have probably never seen it before.

Thursdays are Tijuana Shorts: Comics which feature the regular cast but are non-canon, deal with off-topic themes and may even break the 4th wall. They are noticeably shorter comics with toned-down art and less panels. Get used to them! Tijuana Regular resumes on Monday.

Nice one, I like seeing how much your art has changed!

  2. jynksie says:

YOU SANK MY BATTLESHIP!!!!! …. I loved that game as a kid. I had the electronic version, or should I say the battery operated one, where it made sounds based on what you entered into the board.

  3. Tony says:

    Ah, battleship….the memories…

  4. Brilliant work … the (classified information) truly amazing! :)

  5. George says:

Nice one! I love the way you draw your characters. They have such zest.

  6. sillybeggar says:

Haha! Great facial expression on the severed head!

You know what’s funny? I can draw gore and severed limbs, but I can’t stand watching stuff like Saw or Final Destination. Ghost movies are fine, as long as there’s no blood and guts.

  7. Nate Fakes says:

Battleship can get pretty graphic after losing a few games over some vodka and whiskey!

  8. D. Long says:

Also gratuitous cleavage to lighten the subject matter even more. Those sneaky bastages.
