1. Ace Pilot flies the red-and-grey fighter.
2. Rookie Pilot flies the orange-and-brown fighter.
Ace is shielding Rookie from a potentially fiery death precipitated by the events in this previous comic.

Sometimes I wish that I had a shield. I would be the dodge ball king of the universe! Or … something practical like that.
I would totally think that being the dodge ball king of the universe is both absurdly cool and yet very practical.
Awesome! Seriously, how long does it take you to make on of these?
This one took 10 hours, which is pretty fast because I didn’t have to do multiple backgrounds. The hardest part was designing the transformation, and the most tedious was…flatting. But you know all about that part

Yup, and at 6 frames per week, this is not a really cutting-edge, fast paced movie!
Yeah, awesome stuff! The transformation effect is really, really cool.
Glad you enjoyed it. Doing this gives me newfound respect for the people behind Transformers.
