Learning Curve
speearr : "I misread that as 'wench' but either way it hurts...."

To tell you the truth, I’m the kind of guy who hates reading stuff that tells you how to do things. Books/articles like that irritate the hell out of me. Especially motivational books that guarantee a Whole New You in 10 days just read all 99 Chapters – WOW Effective Habits of Successful People – Get Rich The Smart Way!

No way. I like fiction and the occasional Photoshop tutorial, and car stuff, but please don’t tell me how to better myself.

i was at a party last night, and one of the guests SO could have used that book….. ok… it was me.

  2. jynksie says:

Converse???? … I thought you were supposed engage in drive by motorboating ?!? …no?… just me then?!?

BTW, I’m not understanding panels 3 thru 6…. but then, I was never the bright one in the group!

No problem. If you don’t get it, I have failed as a cartoonist, so the fault lies with me.
He’s just spacing out the individual sheets with some space-age magnets, cos, you know, it’s kinda difficult to suspend stuff in a gravity-free environment in a static position.

      • jynksie says:

I’m not sure you can say “you failed” here. I didn’t have the intelligence to realize that in order for the paper to float in a static manner, it needed weight. I would file this gag under “for those who have intelligence, this jokes for you!” and for people named Jynksie, just admire the purdy pictures!! *grin*

        • speearr says:

LOL dude! Haha no, no intelligence needed (not implying anyone here lacks that!).

Also, weight is meaningless in space. Those are magnets to keep them spaced apart, that’s all. Of course, I have no idea if that’d work in real life. Here, we recommend you suspend logic and disbelief and roll with it. And by ‘we’, I mean me. :(

  3. George says:

Hey! Can I get that book at Barnes and Noble?

  4. Spencey says:

Does that book also come in a pop-up version?

  5. D. Long says:

Chapter one: Her eyes are up there!

  6. Stunning … AS ALWAYS!
Hopefully the last book urges tact/cation – that wrench looks like it could really hurt! :)
