Guest Appearance on This Week in Webcomics

For a webcomic on hiatus, this sure is a busy place!

Ace joins Jackson Ferrell on his webcomic talkshow over at This Week in Webcomics. Click on the image to see!

Fan Art for Calamities of Nature

Lookitwat I did- fan art for one of my webcartoonist buddies, Tony Piro. His Calamities of Nature should be on your reading list because it mixes irony with absurdism and cynism and astrophysics and religion and pop-culture and politicians and lotsa bacon, all wrapped up in innocent-looking critters. Click the image to see it on his site.

Fan Art for Addanac City

I made a piece of fan art for the daily webcomic, Addanac City! Click on the image above to visit his site and view the picture and be sure to check out creator and webcomic pal George Ford’s wicked funny comic.

Indefinite Hiatus

It’s official guys, Terence N. Tijuana is on indefinite hiatus.

I’ve been thinking of pausing this comic for a while, because the effort to make each subsequent comic became enormous than its predecessor, and I was becoming seriously drained of energy. The only thing that kept me going was my enthusiasm (and my readers!).

When my PC broke in the last week of November, I took that as a sign that the comic had to stop if I wanted to keep my physical (and mental) health intact.

I am really sorry to leave all you readers hanging like that, but I’m sure there’s tonnes of other great comics you can continue reading on the internet (how bout checkin’ out my Links page) and you won’t miss Terence N. Tijuana too much. In the meantime, I intend to refrain from webcomicking, but if anyone needs any art-related assistance, give me a holler and if my PC is working, I’ll gladly help out.

Thanks to all you fantastic readers, without you guys I’d never have the energy to come so far.

Regards,

Keong C.
Your webcartoonist.

My PC Broke

Yeah,  sorry about the unannounced break, my computer is broken and I was away most of this week without Internet. I hope to get things fixed and up and running again soon!

Read the Entire Terence N. Tijuana with 2 Clicks

We’re wrapping up Part II in a week’s time, so now is probably a good time for you to (re)read the whole story so far. I’ve prepared 2 handy pages where you can see each Part in its entirety without having to click through 2 dozen storyline-comics:

Enjoy!

Tijuana Celebrates Addanac City’s 400th Strip

…with a piece of fan comic!

George Ford’s daily webcomic, Addanac City, turns 400-strips-old today and being a big fan, made him a gift. See his great epic work here and maybe take a peek at what I drew him too.

Tijuana Spills Over

The General from Terence N. Tijuana has made a very unexpected cameo over at Spilled Ink Cartoons, and he wants chips! Robert Matejcek aka SpilledInkGuy does great work over at Spilled Ink, where he hosts two comics. Go over and feed the General at one of Robert’s comics, Sub Blot!

Character Growth Posted

EDIT: Reposted. Wordpress ate the original.

How Sweet Is Tijuana

Terence N. Tijuana (the ship) makes its maiden guest voyage over at How Sweet It Is by Jynksie, and it’s mighty sweeet!

Not Around

I won’t be around most of this week as I’ll be travelling. The comic will magically update on Thursday, but I won’t be able to respond to your comments (but I will once I return!). Thanks!

Bloody Big Collage

Comic AND blog updated!

Addanac City Hits the Big 1 Year

Addanac City, created by the inexhaustible George Ford, celebrates its 1st Anniversary in grand style, featuring a cast of guests, including:

Addanac City updates 7 days a week and is pure comedy. It comes with my seal of approval!

Jackson Ferrell & Blank It

Dudes!

Check out the blog section below for an article on Jackson Ferrell of This Week In Webcomics and his interview with the creators of the webcomic Blank It!

Ace Gets Muddled

My eyes nearly popped out when I saw this:

Ace Pilot makes his debut guest-appearance… in Muddlecreek, a beautifully-crafted comic by Jerome Benedict! (click on image to view)

The strip is pure whimsical awesomeness, so I’m honoured that he chose to include one of my characters. Go check out Muddlecreek here.

Guestage

I’m still on my 1-week-break, but things are going full-steam behind the scenes. Although there isn’t a comic today, you can hop over to How Sweet It Is for a piece of guest comic I made.

So, technically, I updated at least once this week! Just not on my own site.

See you Monday.

Good News!

Or maybe not…

I’ve had to work late and am unable to finish the comic. In fact, I’ll be pulling late-nighters the rest of the week at the office thanks to a critical deadline, so I’ll take the week off from Tijuana and to pay you guys back, next week’s stuff will be sick-awesome.

Promise.

Tutorial Up, Comic Not…

I cleverly thought I uploaded today’s comic but in fact I uploaded an unfinished version instead. Now, I’m stuck at the office without access to the PC where all the Tijuana goodness resides. Come back in a few hours for the comic, and in the meantime, enjoy the first ever tutorial I made in the blog section below (or click the image):

Comic for June 20th Delayed

Thanks to my webhost. Anyway, I managed to get the comic up, finally. Enjoy!

Website Enhanced

I’ve made some changes to the site and if you don’t see anything different, a simple CTRL+F5 should work (no need to clear your cache etc).

The checkered background I had previously was too distracting. What do you guys think?

New Blog Post: Rejects #1

I’ve posted something new in the blog section below!

t-n-t Cameo

Well, I’m still sick so there’s no comic.

BUT.

For those of you who used to read my old webcomic, t-n-t, Jackson Ferrell of Borderline Boy resurrected protagonist Trent in 2 cameos, here and here. They’re hilarious and so frickin’ nostalgic to read.

So if you’re an old t-n-t fan, go check ‘em out. If not, you can go read all 214 comics in the t-n-t archive anyway.

PS: Jackson is also responsible for This Week in Webcomics.

Sick Leave

First up, I’m really sorry Monday’s comic didn’t appear. I’m down with flu and was so sick the past few days I couldn’t even go online at all. I missed work the past couple of days and have been sleeping most of the time, so the comic remains unfinished.

Secondly, I’m still recovering so I guess there won’t be an update on Thursday either. See you guys next week with a new comic! Take care.

Comic for 2009-06-15 Delayed

The comic for today will be delayed, due to unforseen circumstance (yeah, right).

To make up for that, why not check out a new sketch (or 25) in the blog section below? Or click here for that blog post.

Blog Updated with New Stuff

See the blog section below or click here. I’ve posted something new.

Guest Art for Kaspall

I recently made a 2-panel guest comic/art for the lavish black-and-white comic Kaspall, and its creator Lucy Lyall has posted it up.

Today’s a non-update day here on Tijuana, so go check out Kaspall instead and enjoy!

FAQ

The New Readers page has been updated with a mock-interview with the cartoonist.

Terence N. Tijuana Joins the Cast

The Cast & Crew page has been updated, so go take a look!

Tijuana ‘Shorts’

Thursdays are ‘Tijuana Shorts’ days (first update today!). They feature comics which star the regular cast but are non-canon, deal with off-topic themes and may even break the 4th wall. They are noticeably shorter comics with toned-down art and less panels. The ‘Shorts’ will give me time to make more elaborate updates on Mondays and help me keep my sanity under lock and key. You’d like that, wouldn’t you?

New Terence N. Tijuana

Welcome readers, to a reincarnated Terence N. Tijuana!

Comics update Mondays & Thursdays (3 updates weekly in the near future), in full colour.

The site has been redesigned, with a new Cast & Crew section, a new New Readers section (ongoing) and a new Archive.

If you want to link to us (or you linked with old banners previously), go check out the Links page for brand new banners:

Feel free to leave feedback or contact me via email.

Old Comics Archived

In anticipation (LMFAO) of tomorrow’s comic relaunch, the old Terence N. Tijuana comics have been moved to a separate section of the site. You can still read them here: Tijuana Freestyle, or click on the Freestyle link on the right sidebar of the page.
